The First Parish Pasta & Garlic Dinner Returns [ 2009-01-31 ]
Everyone is invited to dinner at First Parish on Saturday, Feb. 28 with food prepared by the acclaimed chef, Jim Moisson and his merry band of volunteers! The menu will include pasta with olive oil and garlic, tomato sauce, roasted sausages, a three-bean antipasto, green salad and dessert — plenty for vegetarians and carnivores alike! Wine and beer will be available at a cash bar.
Dinner will be served from 5:30 pm to 7-ish. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (family limit of $30 for more than 2 adults and 2 kids). Tickets are available in advance from the church office (guaranteed) or at the door (if room permits). If you'd like to purchase an extra ticket for a First Parish member or friend in financial need, thank you! The minister will hold donated tickets for those in need — Please ask!

The company is excellent, the food is amazing and the tickets are reasonably priced. The proceeds of this event will be split between replenishing the church's limited committee budgets and seed money for the newly forming Groton Community Dinner Program whose purpose is to provide a free monthly dinner in Groton for all.
